US satellites, Orions to help search for bodies of passengers of MV Princess of the Stars
The fate of about 700 passengers of the MV Princess of the Stars has become, for many here, the face of the Typhoon Frank tragedy. The President was told that over a hundred scuba divers – including eight from the US Navy – will try to bore into the ferry’s submerged superstructure Wednesday morning (Manila time).
US satellite imagery is also being used to find bodies believed to be trapped inside the ill-fated ship. The US may also deploy P-3 Orion anti-submarine patrol planes to help search for bodies that may still be floating in the sea.
New internet domain names in 2009
Internet users should soon be able to use new domain names such as .love, .paris or .bank if one of the world wide web's biggest shakeups is approved this week as expected by the web regulator ICANN.
Domain names could soon end in common words instead of the usual .com, .net or .org

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), which opened its annual general meeting Monday in Paris, was due to vote on the new names this week.
"Apart from the .com, .net or .org, the 1.3 billion web users will be able from early 2009 to acquire generic addresses by lodging common words such as .love, .hate or .city or proper names," ICANN president Paul Twomey told French newspaper Les Echos.
The meeting has gathered more than 1,300 delegates from 130 countries.
ICANN, a non-profit organization based in southern California, oversees the assignment of domain names and internet protocol addresses that help computers communicate.

Travel Dublin
The Irish capital, with its approx. half a million inhabitants, beguiles with its charm, culture and a unique setting. Nestling in magnificent, unspoilt scenery and surrounded by hills, the city is only a stone's throw away from wild coastline and the untamed sea, a combination few other cities can match.
Dublin Castle
This former medieval castle dates back to the 13th Century and was a symbol of English rule in Ireland for hundreds of years. After fires in the 17th Century, the imposing building was redesigned in a mixture of Georgian, Classical and Neo-Gothic styles and thus lost some of its castle character. However, the Record Tower dating from Norman times and the State Apartments are still well worth a visit. Both complexes are surrounded by the remnants of the original castle walls and may be visited as part of a guided tour.
